UPDATE: Odyssey will be closing its market place as Empowering parents will be using ClassWallet instead. Our business will have to apply with Empowering Parents again, this time with ClassWallet as soon as they open it up for us to do so, we will apply.
| We received this email October 11th, 2024 Dear Odyssey Vendor, Thank you for participating as a vendor in the Odyssey marketplace for Idaho’s Empowering Parents program. As you may be aware, the State has requested that the Odyssey marketplace close on October 22, 2024. Idaho families are encouraged to purchase goods and services before 10:00 pm MST on October 22, 2024. Vendors will be able to access the portal after that, and must upload tracking and receipt numbers no later than November 8, 2024. Odyssey will continue to work with vendors to process all payments within 30 days of the tracking or receipt number upload. As directed by the State, after that date, parent balances will be temporarily unavailable and remaining grant award funds will become available at a later date. Further details on this will be provided by the State in December 2024. We very much have enjoyed working with you all and would love to continue our work together in additional states. Odyssey policies and procedures
- A parent may not receive a payment, refund, or rebate of grant funds from a vendor. All payments, refunds, or rebates must be processed through the digital wallet.
- Purchases made online through the Marketplace must be shipped to the residential address associated with the account.
- Vendors will clearly post return policies on their websites.
- Grant funds are for the purchase of current or upcoming goods and services. Reimbursements and payments for past-due invoices are prohibited. Late payment or refund payment fees are not allowed.
- Prepayment of services is allowed only within the awarded school year.
